This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bladensburg, MD, for an Elevator Superintendent. The Superintendent will oversee field operations to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of elevator maintenance, repair, and modernization services, in compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. This role includes managing field team schedules, conducting site inspections, coordinating with clients and technicians, and ensuring adherence to Quality Elevator's high standards of service. The Superintendent will serve as a point of contact for customer communication, foster effective team collaboration, and work proactively to optimize project outcomes and client satisfaction.
- Technical skills in elevator maintenance, repair, and modernization, with a strong understanding of safety standards and code compliance
- Project management and organizational skills, including the ability to coordinate schedules, oversee multiple projects, and manage resources effectively
- Leadership and team management experience, with a focus on training, mentoring, and fostering collaboration
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address technical challenges and ensure customer satisfaction
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client relations and team engagement
- Knowledge of elevator systems from major manufacturers is an advantage
- Proficiency in relevant software tools and systems for project and schedule management
- Relevant certification and industry-specific training, as well as experience in a similar role, are preferred
