We’re currently seeking a detail-oriented Quality Technician to join our growing team and help maintain the high standards our customers expect from QES products and systems.

Position Summary

The Quality Technician is responsible for ensuring that all products and processes meet company and customer quality standards. This role performs inspections, testing, and documentation to verify compliance with specifications and supports production teams in resolving quality issues. The Quality Technician will also assist in maintaining calibration, process audits, and continuous improvement activities across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect incoming materials, inprocess

assemblies, and finished products to ensure they meet quality and

engineering standards.

  • Perform dimensional checks, visual inspections, and electrical testing as required.
  • Document inspection results, nonconformances, and corrective actions accurately.
  • Support root cause analysis and corrective and preventive action (CAPA) processes.
  • Assist in maintaining and updating quality

documentation, including inspection records

and calibration logs.

  • Monitor and report on production quality metrics and trends.
  • Verify compliance with customer, ISO, and companyspecific quality standards.
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and

management teams to resolve product and process issues.

  • Participate in internal quality audits and support external audits as needed.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement

and safety throughout the facility.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required;

associate degree or technical certification preferred.

  • 2 years of quality inspection or manufacturing

experience, preferably in an electrical or mechanical production environment.

  • Familiarity with inspection tools and equipment

(calipers, micrometers, multimeters, etc.).

  • Strong understanding of quality systems, inspection plans, and documentation practices.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and data entry systems.
  • Excellent attention to detail, communication, and problemsolving skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and electrical schematics.
  • Willingness to learn and comply with

state-specific certification and regulatory

processes related to electrical systems and manufacturing requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or 5S principles.
  • Experience performing inspections in electrical assemblies or control panels.
  • Familiarity with calibration programs and

measuring system analysis.

Physical/Environmental Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Work in a manufacturing or warehouse

environment with exposure to moderate noise levels.

  • Ability to visually inspect small components

with precision.
