What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Technician / Swing Shift position at Quality Electrical Systems?
We’re looking for a skilled Quality Technician with knowledge of ISO 9001 standards to join our team!
In this role, you’ll be responsible for inspecting, testing, and developing quality control guidelines to ensure our products and services meet company and industry standards. You’ll oversee inspection processes, verify that each step in production is completed correctly, and identify the root causes of any quality issues.
The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial manufacturing and electrical systems. Previous leadership in ISO audits is a major plus.

Shift: 3:30 pm to 1:30 am Monday - Thursday

Responsibilities:
- Uses consistent training tactics to ensure all employees are working towards the same production goals.
- Monitors ISO Standards.
- Consults with company managers to determine production goals and product standards.
- Creates a system of measurement to gauge product and service quality.
- Uses standardized system of measurement to analyze company products and output.
- Inspects all products for defective parts or details of substandard quality.
- Coordinate state certifications for the company.
- Oversees daily work procedures to ensure that all
processes are in compliance with company codes and legal standards.
- Delegates tasks to quality control internal audit team

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree or technical certification preferred.
- ISO 9001 knowledge
- Additional certifications in quality inspection, Six Sigma, or Lean Manufacturing are advantageous.
- Ability to identify quality issues and suggest corrective and preventive actions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for reporting and collaboration.
- Experience working with crossfunctional teams, including
production, engineering, and management.
