We take pride in delivering high-performance solutions while fostering a hands-on, collaborative work environment where employees can grow and make a real impact.Job Summary:The E-House Manufacturing Supervisor is responsible for leading, training, and supervising a team of technicians and assemblers involved in the construction of Fabricated Electrical Houses (E-Houses) and modular structures for industrial applications. This hands-on leadership role ensures production schedules are met while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.This position requires bilingual Spanish proficiency. The Supervisor works actively on the shop floor and collaborates daily with Engineering, Quality Control, and Project Management teams to ensure all structures are built according to design requirements, construction plans, and applicable industry standards.The ideal candidate has strong hands-on construction or modular-building experience, combined with proven leadership, communication, and organizational skills.Key Responsibilities:Supervise day-to-day construction and assembly activities for the E-House manufacturing teamTrain, mentor, and assign tasks to construction technicians and assemblersEnsure all framing, building, and assembly work follows construction drawings, blueprints, and specificationsOversee installation of structural components, wall systems, floors, roofs, doors, mechanical features, and other modular elementsCollaborate with Engineering and Quality teams to resolve construction issues and ensure compliance with build standardsConduct quality inspections throughout all stages of construction and troubleshoot issues as neededMonitor and enforce OSHA and company safety policies; promote a strong safety cultureSupport continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workflow, reduce waste, and increase efficiencyMaintain accurate documentation including material usage, job progress, time tracking, and inspection checklistsCommunicate production status, resource needs, and challenges to managementFoster a collaborative, productive, and safety-focused team environmentRequired Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in construction, carpentry, fabrication, or related fields preferred3 years of experience in construction, modular building, or industrial fabrication, including 1 year in a supervisory or lead roleBilingual proficiency in Spanish (required) for effective communication on the shop floorAbility to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and build plansProficiency with construction tools, equipment, and building techniques such as framing, assembly, and installationWorking knowledge of OSHA standards and general construction safety practicesStrong leadership, communication, and organizational skillsCommitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work environmentPreferred Qualifications:Experience supervising teams in modular construction, prefabricated structures, industrial enclosures, or similar environmentsFamiliarity with lean manufacturing, 5S, or continuous improvement practicesUnderstanding of modular building codes or construction industry requirementsWhy Join QES?Be part of a respected and growing industrial solutions companyWork on complex, high-impact modular and electrical infrastructure projectsStrong focus on safety, quality, and teamworkCompetitive compensation and opportunities for advancementApply today on ZipRecruiter to join the QES team!Company DescriptionQuality Electrical Systems is an electrical equipment manufacturer in West Jordan, UT.
