We are currently seeking a skilled and dependable Industrial Paint Technician (Wet Spray Coatings) to join our coatings department. This hands-on role is responsible for the consistent, high-quality application of wet spray coatings on metal components. Wage: $24.00 to $26.00 for experienced / $22.00 for trainee
Shift: 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm Monday - Friday

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare metal surfaces through laser ablation, sanding, masking, and cleaning to ensure proper paint adhesion.
- Apply wet spray coatings using HVLP or airless spray systems, meeting specified mil thickness and finish quality.
- Conduct inprocess and final inspections to verify finish quality and conformance to specifications.
- Monitor coating equipment, perform basic maintenance, and adjust settings as needed to ensure consistent application.
- Maintain accurate records of coating processes, material usage, and production metrics.
- Follow all safety protocols, including proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials.
- Support 5S initiatives in the coating booth and prep areas to maintain a clean, safe, and efficient workspace.
- Collaborate across departments to meet production goals and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications
- 1 year of industrial or automotive painting/coating experience preferred.
- Familiarity with HVLP and airless spray systems, viscosity cups, and wet film gauges.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify coating defects.
- Ability to pass a respirator fit test and work safely with solvents and flammable materials.
- Good communication skills and a teamoriented mindset.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods, and performing repetitive tasks.
