Field Service Technician

QES is seeking a skilled Industrial Field Service Electrician with a Journeyman background to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair industrial electrical control systems directly at customer sites.

This is a hands-on, travel-intensive position requiring up to 80% out-of-state travel.

• Install, test, and troubleshoot mediumvoltage switchgear, control circuitry, and SEL/GE relays.
• Program, commission, and troubleshoot Satie control panels, PLCs, VFDs, and SoftStarts.
• Apply standard troubleshooting procedures to ensure safe and efficient resolution of electrical issues.
• Provide customer support and onsite commissioning for industrial control systems.
• Maintain a strong commitment to safety, efficiency, and innovation in every project.

Knowledge and Experience Requirements
• Proven experience with industrial electrical systems and controls.
• Strong knowledge of PLCs, motor controls, and electrical wiring standards.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and blueprints.
• Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Willingness to travel 5080% of the time with flexibility in scheduling.
• Strong communication skills and a customerfirst mindset.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications
• Journeyman Electrician license or related certifications (e.g., Siemens, Satie, AllenBradley).
