Full Time Journeyman

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical work, including both commercial and industrial settings. This role requires proficiency in various electrical systems, the ability to read blueprints and schematics, and hands-on experience with tools and equipment. The Journeyperson will be responsible for executing electrical installations, renovations, and maintenance tasks while ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial environments.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment such as ohmmeters to complete tasks efficiently.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project specifications.
• Perform low voltage and high voltage electrical work as required.
• Collaborate with construction teams on renovation projects to ensure timely completion of electrical installations.
• Adhere to National Electrical Code (NEC) regulations during all work activities.
• Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues before they escalate.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area on construction sites.

Experience

• Proven experience as an industrial electrician or commercial electrician is essential.
• Familiarity with construction site protocols and safety practices is required.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, including low voltage, high voltage, and renovation projects.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documents effectively.
• Demonstrated proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
