The Role
The Account Executive is a junior sales role designed to support QDS's growth by focusing on:
- New business development with smaller financial institutions (banks and credit unions with fewer than seven branches), and
- Ongoing management of assigned Tier 3 client relationships.
This role is both hands-on and developmental, serving as a foundational step toward future growth into a Strategic Account Executive role.
- The individual in this role must reside in one of the following states: Georgia, Louisiana, Alabama, or Tennessee
What You'll Do
New Business Development (Financial Institutions with < 7 Branches)
- Prospect, qualify, and develop new business opportunities with community banks and credit unions.
- Execute outbound outreach through calls, emails, LinkedIn, and follow-up campaigns.
- Lead discovery conversations to understand prospect needs, challenges, and decision-making processes.
- Present QDS solutions through virtual meetings and demos.
- Clearly communicate value propositions, ROI, and cost-benefit analyses.
- Create and manage proposals with guidance from sales leadership.
- Support contract discussions and closing activities in alignment with company policies.
Tier 3 Account Management
- Manage and maintain relationships with assigned Tier 3 clients.
- Serve as the primary point of contact, ensuring timely communication and responsiveness.
- Support renewals, small expansions, and ongoing client satisfaction.
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities and escalate larger opportunities to senior sales leadership.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure a positive customer experience.
Sales Process, CRM & Collaboration
- Maintain accurate activity, pipeline, and account data in CRM tools (HubSpot or similar).
- Participate in sales meetings, training, and professional development.
- Collaborate closely with Strategic Account Executives to ensure smooth handoffs and alignment.
- Stay informed on industry trends and challenges facing community banks and credit unions.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 0–2 years of experience in sales, business development, or customer-facing roles.
- Experience working with or selling to financial institutions is a plus, but not required.
