Field Service Technician/Helper
Seeking an entry- level and experienced maintenance technicians who are mechanically inclined, to perform various types of service work to meet customer and industry requirements, perform other field service and warehouse task as required. Work on-site with other crew leaders.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Must maintain 100% commitment to safety policies and procedures
- Work closely with lead technician and team members to complete tasks
- Maintain OSHA and MSHA standards
- Working knowledge of tools and equipment needed for the job
- Fully understand and carry out verbal and written instruction
- Be willing and able to work a variety of schedules on-call, including dayshift, nightshift, weekend and holidays
- Ability to safely lift 75-100 pounds frequently, using proper lifting techniques
- Clearly and effectively communicate with staff and customers
Minimum Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required upon hire and as a condition of continued employment
- Possess good communication skills, i.e., written, verbal and listening
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test

Criteria/Conditions
- Work is performed in various industrial settings, including shop, mining, construction environments. Work sites may include exposure to temperature extremes, humidity, moving mechanical parts, risk of electrical shock, toxic chemicals, airborne particles and fumes from adhesives, solvents and paints.
- While performing the duties of this job, you will be required to stand, sit, talk, hear, see, demonstrate manual dexterity, climb stairs and ladders and work on elevated platforms.
- Personal protective equipment is required on a regular basis, including hard hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety footwear, and as needed, respirator, gloves and other required protective equipment as required.
