Job position description:
We are looking for a full-time Project Estimator to support the senior estimating staff. The ideal candidate is someone with 3-5 years in commercial estimating with excellent analytical, reasoning, problem solving and people skills. Salary is dependent on experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Perform estimating functions as assigned including, but not limited to:
- Conduct site visits and collect data to prepare cost estimates for various construction projects.
- Analyze plans, specifications, and other project materials to identify potential cost savings.
- Create detailed cost estimates using industry standard software and manual calculations.
- Provide cost estimates to clients, contractors, and other stakeholders for review and approval.
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure that cost estimates are accurate and comprehensive.
- Monitor construction progress and adjust cost estimates as necessary to account for changes in scope or cost.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and specialized tools like Bluebeam, Procore, or Sage.
- Strong understanding of construction methods and materials
- Ability to read and interpret plans and technical drawings.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
