Responsibilities
- Perform auto body repairs and restoration on vehicles, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Utilize MIG welding techniques for structural repairs
- Preferred experience in plastic welding techniques and standards.
- Conduct final inspection that will include mechanical inspections and maintenance to ensure vehicle functionality.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and equipment for various repair tasks.
- Execute sheet metal work, soldering, and auto glass replacement as required.
- Communication about repair status and requirements to office staff.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
- Assist in heavy lifting of vehicle components during the repair process.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in automotive repair techniques.
Skills
- Proven experience in auto body repair with dealership experience preferred.
- Proficient in MIG welding, fabrication, and mechanical knowledge related to automotive systems.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and equipment used in auto body shops.
- Strong problem-solving skills with an ability to assess damage accurately for effective repairs.
