Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, floor care, carpet cleaning, and surface sanitation to uphold high standards of cleanliness.
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures across residential spaces and common areas to ensure hygiene compliance.
- Handle laundry tasks efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring proper usage and regular maintenance for optimal performance.
- Manage manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting of furniture or supplies safely and effectively.
- Communicate professionally with residents or clients regarding their cleaning needs or special requests.
- Follow safety protocols related to janitorial and custodial work while working indoors or outdoors in various weather conditions.
Skills
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, janitorial work, or hotel housekeeping roles.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning detergents, disinfectants, and surface cleaning techniques.
- Expertise in floor cleaning methods including tile, hardwood, carpet care, and outdoor work experience is preferred.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout your shift.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while handling cleaning supplies or furniture.
