We are hiring a PRN After-Hours Facilities Fire Prevention Specialist to join our team. This is a flexible, part-time, career-launching role designed for motivated individuals who want to gain hands-on experience in fire prevention, security systems, and facilities safety, without risking their current income.

Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of fire sprinkler systems, alarms, and security systems to ensure proper functionality and compliance with safety standards.
- Monitor facility premises during after-hours shifts to identify potential fire hazards or security breaches.
- Assist with the installation, maintenance, and testing of fire alarm and sprinkler systems as needed.
- Perform construction inspections related to fire prevention measures, ensuring adherence to design specifications and safety codes.
- Collaborate with construction teams and vendors on system design modifications or upgrades related to fire safety.
- Document inspection findings, maintenance activities, and any safety concerns accurately for reporting purposes.
- Support alarm system sales initiatives by providing technical insights into fire alarm system features and benefits during client interactions.
Experience
- Prior experience in security, fire alarm systems, or construction inspection is preferred.
- Knowledge of system design principles related to fire sprinkler fitting, fire alarms, and alarm system sales is advantageous.
- Familiarity with construction processes, inspection protocols, and safety regulations is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify potential hazards or system deficiencies during inspections.
- Excellent communication skills for documenting findings and collaborating with team members or clients.
- Ability to work independently during after-hours shifts while maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism.
