Job Description
- Seeking a PLC/SCADA Developer with strong experience in Allen Bradley & Siemens PLC programming, HMI development, Ignition SCADA, SQL querying, and Kepware/OPC communications.
- Role involves designing, developing, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting automation systems across multiple U.S. plant locations.
- Candidate must be willing to travel and interact directly with clients for requirement gathering and on-site support.
Must-Have Skills
- 5–6 years hands-on with Allen Bradley PLCs (RSLogix 500, Studio 5000, CCW)
- Strong experience with Siemens PLCs (TIA Portal, S7, SIMATIC)
- HMI development: FactoryTalk View, WinCC, Ignition SCADA
- Ignition SCADA (mandatory)
- Strong SQL and relational databases experience
- Experience with Kepware & OPC protocols
- PLC Programmer, SCADA Engineer, Manufacturing Automation.
- Willingness to travel across U.S. for on-site support
- Excellent problem-solving, communication & customer-facing skills
Good-to-Have Skills
- Manufacturing domain experience
- Python / JavaScript scripting within Ignition
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
- Understanding of backend infrastructure (servers, virtualization, networking, OS, databases)
