• A well-regarded litigation firm seeks a motivated Associate Attorney with at least three years of experience handling insurance defense matters in New York State.
• This is a great opportunity for attorneys who enjoy direct client interaction, regular court appearances, and meaningful responsibility over cases from inception through trial and appeal.
• Those with interest in municipal liability or Section 1983 litigation may expand their practice within the firm.

What You’ll Do:

• Handle in-person court appearances in state and federal courts throughout the NYC metro area
• Manage auto and premises liability cases from start to finish, including motion practice and appeals
• Conduct and defend depositions and negotiate settlements
• Communicate regularly with clients, carriers, and claims representatives
• Track billable hours and contribute to firm goals
• Optional involvement in municipal liability and coverage matters

Experience You’ll Need:

• Minimum 3 years of insurance defense litigation experience in New York State
• Admission to the New York State Bar (Federal Bar admission a plus)
• Must be comfortable with depositions, motion practice, and court appearances
• Strong writing, advocacy, and litigation skills
