Job Summary:
The Administrator - Network is responsible for the comprehensive management and maintenance of the organization's network infrastructure. This includes monitoring, troubleshooting, configuring, and updating network systems, firewalls, and communication equipment. The role also involves supporting server and application issues, printer management, and collaborating with various teams to ensure optimal network performance and security.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain wired and wireless networks.
- Monitor and manage firewalls.
- Monitor and maintain network equipment.
- Resolve network and carrier issues.
- Collaborate with terminal/shop staff to troubleshoot and resolve network-related problems.
- Provision new network circuits as required.
- Design and configure new networks as needed.
- Configure and install network equipment.
- Update networks and network equipment as necessary.
- Dispatch IW technicians when needed.
- Provide support to the helpdesk for troubleshooting network, server, and application issues.
- Monitor servers and applications.
- Troubleshoot server and application issues.
- Perform basic server and application tasks.
- Execute software releases according to schedule.
- Set up and troubleshoot printer issues.
- Provide static IPs for new printers to the helpdesk.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position, and days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. After-hours work is a requirement.
Travel: 10%
