What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Transporter position at Quality Care LLC?
Quality Care seeks a Patient Transporter to join our downtown Rochester, MN team, Monday-Friday 6 am to 2 pm. As a Patient Transporter, your primary responsibility will be assisting patients by transporting them from their rooms or designated areas to appointments and returning them after appointments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Safely and efficiently transport patients to and from appointments within the facility.
• Ensure patients are comfortable and secure during transport.
• Communicate with patients in a courteous, respectful, and professional manner.
• Follow all hospital protocols and safety procedures.
• Assist with any necessary mobility aids or equipment during transport.
Qualifications:
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to provide compassionate care and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.
• Previous experience in healthcare or a similar setting is a plus but not required.
Valid driver's license
