What are the responsibilities and job description for the Territory Manager — Wholesale Tree & Shrub Sales position at Quality by Design?
Quality By Design is a vertically integrated landscape, irrigation and sod contractor serving national homebuilders across Central and Northeast Florida. We also own and operate a 250-acre tree and shrub nursery across five Florida locations, growing live oak, magnolia, Sylvester and queen palms, ornamental trees and a deep container shrub program.
For most of our history that nursery has supplied our own installation crews. We are now building a wholesale business alongside it, selling finished material to landscape contractors, re-wholesalers and growers across the Southeast. This role owns that business.
The role
You will own outside plant sales end to end: the customer list, the availability list, the pricing conversation and the truck that shows up. This is a build, not a maintenance job. We have the inventory and the growing capability. We need someone to put it in front of buyers and close it.
You will report to our Farm Leader, with a direct line to the CEO. A small number of long-standing accounts stay with the people who built them. Everything else is open, and you will start with a set of warm leads and live conversations that we will hand over to you.
