Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Painter/Painter Helper.
Responsibilities
- Surface preparation: Sanding, cleaning, and removing car parts to prepare the surface for paint
- Mixing and matching colors: Matching the paint to the vehicle's existing finish
- Applying paint: Using various techniques, such as sprays, brushes, and rollers, to apply the paint
- Repairing surface defects: Fixing scratches, chips, and dents
- Inspecting finishes: Checking for flaws and runs or sags
- Maintaining equipment: Cleaning and maintaining tools, work areas, and equipment
- Disposing of hazardous materials: Disposing of hazardous materials and wastes
- Ordering supplies and maintaining inventory
Experience
- Prior experience in painting preferred
- Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to surface area and material quantities
- Knowledge of paint spraying techniques and painting methods is beneficial
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
