Responsibilities
- Greet customers and assess their automotive service needs with professionalism and courtesy.
- Provide detailed explanations of services required, including mechanical knowledge related to shocks, struts, tire service, and general vehicle maintenance.
- Prepare service estimates and write up service orders accurately.
- Communicate effectively with technicians regarding customer concerns and service requirements.
- Sell additional services based on customer needs and vehicle condition.
- Maintain a clean and organized service area, ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any further questions or concerns.
- Stay updated on automotive technology, trends, and best practices to provide informed recommendations.
Experience
- Previous experience in an automotive service environment is required.
- Strong mechanical knowledge is essential; familiarity with auto repair is a plus.
- Experience in service writing and selling automotive services is highly desirable.
- Proven sales skills within the automotive industry will be beneficial.
