Your Impact
- Sets up and operates assembly equipment such as small hydraulic presses, stakers, small drill presses, welding machines, air drivers, spin riveters, and winders.
- Rotates in other work cells as directed by Supervisor or Cell Leader.
- Packs finished product for shipment.
- Maintains work area to ensure a safe and clean work environment.
- Actively participates in making and implementing cell improvements.
- Performs duties in accordance with established quality standards.
Skills & Experience
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following skills and experience:
- Must have proficient English reading and writing skills and be able to read and comprehend MSDS sheets and standard work instructions. High School Diploma/GED is preferred.
- Minimum 1 year experience in an assembly or lean manufacturing environment.
- Manual dexterity and mechanical proficiency.
- Ability to use various hand and power tools and equipment to read measuring devices.
- Regularly exerting up to 20 lbs of force and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
- Bending body downward and forward at the waist.
- Standing for sustained periods of time.
- Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks.
