Qualified Technologies Corporation is a Part 145 FAA Repair Station founded by veterans of the aerospace OEMs, including Honeywell and Hamilton Sundstrand. The company specializes in Environmental Control Systems, but has adapted to the needs of the industry by adding capabilities for electromechanical and hydraulic components. The vision of this company is driven by reduced operating costs through engineered solutions. First and foremost we are a production driven company, however, our engineering abilities have quickly set us aside from other repair stations. Through the use of new technology and manufacturing methods, we are able to continue support of legacy aircrafts, no longer supported by the OEMs. We are growing fast and are always looking for the next quality addition to our team.

Qualified Technologies is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Level I or II to join our team in Upland, CA

We are a FAA approved repair facility focusing on aircraft based pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

Looking to grow our engineering team, with the right candidate, that will help us continue to drive our success through engineered solutions.

Duties

  • Develop, evaluate, and refine manufacturing processes to maximize productivity and quality while minimizing waste.
  • Utilize CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Creo to design tooling, fixtures, and process layouts that support efficient assembly lines and fabrication.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify issues in manufacturing processes or equipment failures and implement effective corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with process engineers and industrial engineers to optimize process flow using lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement strategies.
  • Create detailed schematics, technical drawings, and schematics for industrial equipment using GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) standards.
  • Oversee factory experience projects involving welding, CNC programming, CAM programming, and tooling fabrication to meet production specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards by maintaining accurate documentation and quality control procedures across the manufacturing facility.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field; advanced certifications in manufacturing or process engineering are a plus.
  • Proven experience working within a manufacturing environment with hands-on knowledge of fabrication, and industrial equipment.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with expertise in CAD tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, and Schematics drawing software.
  • Skilled in programming CNC machines, robot programming, PLC troubleshooting, CAM programming, vision inspection systems, and CNC programming.
  • Excellent project scheduling skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Strong analytical skills including root cause analysis techniques to troubleshoot complex issues efficiently.
