Are you a seasoned M&A Attorney looking for a dynamic opportunity with a respected and growing organization? Our client, a prestigious firm located in Downtown Detroit, is seeking a Mergers & Acquisitions Attorney with 4 to 8 years of experience handling complex business, corporate, and M&A transactions.
What You’ll Do:
You'll play a pivotal role in advising clients on strategic transactions, with responsibilities including:

- Drafting and negotiating stock purchase agreements, asset purchase agreements, LLC operating agreements, joint venture agreements, sales agreements, and other complex contracts.
- Leading and supporting various stages of mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and other business combinations.
- Collaborating with stakeholders across disciplines to structure and execute deals.
- Advising on legal risks, business strategies, and corporate governance matters.
What We’re Looking For:
- J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to the State Bar (Michigan).
- 4–8 years of experience focused on M&A and general corporate matters, ideally within a law firm or in-house legal department.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex transactions from due diligence through post-closing.
- Exceptional drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
