Pay starts at $16.00/hr for days and $16.80/hr for nights with the opportunity for advancement to $18.25/hr at time of permanent hire! This position is currently set as 90-days temp-to-permanent.
The Cleanroom Operator will rotate between various jobs such as breaking, packaging, labeling, sealing and rework of hyper-pure polysilicon. Position summary:
The Cleanroom Operator is a key member of a high-performing team essential for breaking down and packaging hyper-pure polysilicon using hand tools to meet customer specification. The Cleanroom Operator will rotate between various jobs such as breaking, packaging, labeling, sealing and rework of hyper-pure polysilicon while following all safety and quality standards.
Key elements: This job requires a disciplined approach using various forms of instructional documentation, such as:
1. Standard Work Instructions (SWI's)
2. Other temporary or permanent Job Plans and procedures
The expectation is that these tasks are completed as defined to ensure safe and effective practices are consistently followed with strict adherence to all Site Safety Standards.
Working conditions of the role will be a cleanroom environment with controlled temperatures. The tasks performed by the Cleanroom Operator require a significant amount of time standing and working with your hands. Proper usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is a key requirement of the role.
Schedule:
First week of training is 40 hours, on the assigned shift (Day/Night). The second week, the position then transitions to an 8-hour-per-shift 2-3-2 schedule. The third week, the position transition to a 10-hour-per-shift 2-3-2 schedule. The fourth week, the position will transition to the full 12-hour 2-3-2 schedule. This involves working every other weekend.
Currently this is a straight days or straight nights role. In February 20022 this role will transition to a rotating schedule which means this schedule will rotate between days and nights every two weeks.
Tasks:
- Housekeeping in multiple areas, including: Cleanroom, workstation, and lunchroom to sustain quality standards
- Operation and maintenance of manufacturing assets in a manner that adheres to all regulatory and site management systems
- Communication with opposing shift through verbal and written methods to ensure your co-workers have all necessary, relevant information to ensure successful completion of job requirements
- Recognize, react to, and escalate any abnormal conditions to management
- Participation in all required safety and training programs
- Generate and communicate ideas to improve the technology and process
