We are seeking experienced Sanitation Supervisors and Superintendents for a leading pork processing and food manufacturing company in Sioux City, IA. These are 3rd shift positions offering a base salary of up to $80,000 for Supervisors and up to $105,000 for Superintendents, plus a 10% annual bonus and relocation assistance.
Role Description:
- Oversee daily cleaning and sanitation operations to ensure the facility meets USDA and food safety standards.
- Manage and direct the sanitation team and any contracted cleaning crews during the overnight shift.
- Inspect the facility, identify sanitation risks, and implement corrective actions to prevent contamination.
- Verify sanitation effectiveness through inspections, swabbing, and chemical testing.
- Coordinate with operations, maintenance, and other departments to resolve sanitation issues and maintain smooth plant operations.
- Train sanitation staff and support food safety programs, including allergen, pest, and chemical control.
- Maintain accurate sanitation records and ensure the facility is always inspection-ready.
Qualifications:
- Experience working in a meat or pork processing or food manufacturing environment is required.
- Willingness to relocate to Sioux City, Iowa.
- Experience working in Slaughter/Harvest/Cut/Kill Facility
