Position Overview
The Operations Manager will lead end-to-end transportation operations, including dispatch planning, carrier and customer management, and daily execution performance in a fast-paced port environment. This role requires hands-on operational leadership and strong problem-solving capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day drayage and intermodal operations (LA/LB market)
- Manage customer accounts and third-party carriers
- Develop and execute dispatch plans to optimize fleet utilization
- Monitor KPIs such as on-time performance and asset productivity
- Supervise operations/dispatch team and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards (DOT, FMCSA, etc.)
Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience in logistics, trucking, or drayage operations
- 2 years in a supervisory or management roles
- Hands-on experience in LA/LB port drayage or intermodal operations (required)
- Strong experience with dispatching, driver management, and daily operations
- Bilingual proficiency in Korean and English (required)
