About the Role

The Piping Engineer will design and support combustion piping systems, utility layouts, and related mechanical components for industrial applications. The role involves hands-on design work, system calculations, and collaboration with project and field teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and size combustion piping trains and utility supply systems including air, gas, and water
- Perform detailed calculations for flow, pressure, and performance within combustion systems
- Create and update system drawings using AutoCAD
- Support installation and field teams to ensure system functionality and compliance
- Participate in system troubleshooting and optimization
- Travel for site visits, installation support, and commissioning as required (about 25 percent across North America)
Qualifications
- Experience with combustion piping trains and related components
- Strong understanding of combustion design principles including flow and pressure calculations
- Proficient in AutoCAD
- Familiar with utility sizing (air, gas, water)
- Background in ovens, furnaces, or thermal systems such as those used in automotive paint or industrial finishing environments is welcome
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $110,000 to $115,000
- Straight time overtime for all hours worked over 40, including travel time
- Profit sharing based on company performance (average 2 to 5 percent of annual income)
- 401(k) eligibility on day one with 4 percent company match when contributing 5 percent
- Full benefits available starting on the 31st day of employment
