This is a full-time role as a Caregiver, with the opportunity to work in a remote capacity. As a Caregiver, you will assist clients with daily living activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, medication reminders, and light housekeeping. You will provide companionship, emotional support, and coordinate with healthcare providers as necessary. Strong communication with both clients and their families is an integral part of this role. Additionally, you will document client progress and report any changes to ensure quality care and safety.
- Experience in caregiving, including personal care assistance, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with clients and their families.
- Basic knowledge of health and safety practices, and the ability to follow care plans and medication schedules.
- Compassionate, patient, and understanding nature with a commitment to client dignity and well-being.
- Organizational and time management skills to manage daily tasks effectively and document progress accurately.
- Ability to handle emergencies calmly and follow established protocols.
- Previous experience in a caregiving or healthcare role is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a nursing assistant or similar qualification is an advantage.
