Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Franklin, PA for a Welder/Fabricator. The individual will be responsible for welding and fabricating metal components according to blueprints and specifications. Responsibilities include cutting, shaping, assembling, and welding metals using various tools and techniques, as well as inspecting finished products for quality compliance. The Welder and Fabricator will ensure safety guidelines are strictly followed and contribute to maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications
- Proficiency with welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding
- Experience in metal fabrication, including cutting, shaping, and assembling components
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
- Knowledge of safety standards and a commitment to maintaining a secure work environment
- Strong attention to detail and quality focus with the ability to inspect completed work
- Basic mathematical and measurement skills for accurate fabrication
- Experience operating equipment such as positioners, cranes, fork lift, grinders, saws, and torches
- Relevant certifications in welding or fabrication are a plus, must be capable of AWS D1.2
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or vocational education is an advantage
