We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Manufacturing Associate to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in factory operations, with experience in assembly line processes and the use of various hand and power tools. This role is essential to maintaining the efficiency and quality of our production line.
Duties
- Operate machinery and equipment on the assembly line to produce high-quality products.
- Perform assembly tasks using hand tools and power tools, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Conduct routine inspections of machinery and equipment to identify any mechanical issues.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety guidelines.
- Assist in the training of new employees on manufacturing processes and equipment usage.
- Utilize forklifts for material handling as needed, ensuring safe operation at all times.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a manufacturing facility or factory setting is preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
- Familiarity with assembly line operations and processes.
- Experience using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Warehouse experience is a plus, particularly in material handling or inventory management.
- Forklift certification is desirable; willingness to obtain certification if not currently held.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing quality work.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
