Job Title: Overhead Crane Operator (2nd Shift)

Job Type: Contract to Hire

Pay Rate: $18.00 - $23.00/Hour (Depending on Experience)

General Description:

We are seeking a versatile Material Handler for our 2nd shift at our facility in Industrial Drive, PA. This position is ideal for someone who can act as a switch hitter, meaning you’ll be ready to take on various tasks as needed. The Material Handler will assist with a variety of duties, including skidding, operating machines, using an overhead crane, parts cleaning, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle, move, and stage materials within the facility
• Operate overhead cranes to transport materials and assist with production processes
• Help with skidding materials, ensuring that all items are appropriately packaged and prepared for shipment
• Run machines as needed to support production, ensuring smooth operations
• Perform parts cleaning tasks to maintain cleanliness and readiness of materials
• Assist with inventory management, keeping track of materials and supplies
• Ensure that safety protocols are followed while operating equipment and handling materials
• Provide support to various departments as required to ensure efficient production workflows
  
  
  

Requirements:

• Previous experience in material handling or warehouse operations preferred
• Ability to operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and other machinery safely
• Strong ability to multi-task and adapt to changing duties throughout the shift
• Ability to lift and move heavy materials as required
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Previous experience in manufacturing or industrial environments a plus
• Willingness to learn and take on various tasks across different areas of production
