- Develop and improve reliability and predictive maintenance programs for critical manufacturing equipment
- Analyze equipment failures using Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) and Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA)
- Utilize condition monitoring methods such as vibration analysis, thermography, and lubrication analysis
- Partner with maintenance and operations teams to optimize preventive maintenance strategies
- Identify opportunities to improve equipment uptime, reliability, and maintenance efficiency
- Track and report key maintenance and reliability performance metrics
- Support major equipment repairs, shutdowns, and capital improvement projects
- Work with equipment vendors and contractors to resolve technical issues
- Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support to maintenance personnel
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline
- At least 3 years of maintenance reliability experience in a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment
- At least 5 years of hands-on maintenance experience
- Strong understanding of predictive and preventive maintenance practices
- Experience using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems)
- Working knowledge of reliability methodologies including RCM, RCFA, FMEA, and TPM
- Ability to analyze equipment performance data and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems
- Familiarity with OSHA and ASTM standards
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
- Willingness to work in the field and support technicians with hands-on troubleshooting and repairs
- Reliability certification such as CMRP or CRE
- Experience with heavy manufacturing or metal processing equipment
- Knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or continuous improvement principles
