Position: Fitter/Fabricators

Location: Cocoa, FL

Duration: Contract to Hire

Shift: 1st Shift

Pay Rate: Up to $26.00/hr. (Depending on experience)

We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Structural Steel Fitter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for precision and a keen eye for detail. You will play a vital role in fabricating and assembling structural steel components, ensuring the integrity and quality of our projects. Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout requirements
• Perform fitting and welding tasks according to project specifications and industry standards
• Operate and maintain welding equipment and tools in a safe and efficient manner
• Ensure accuracy and quality in all fabrication and welding processes
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet project deadlines and objectives
• Always adhere to safety protocols and regulations
  
  
  

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Structural Steel Fitter or similar role
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong knowledge of welding techniques, equipment, and materials
• Has the ability to set-up and use track torch
• Ability to pass all test for Flux Core Welding
• Certification in welding (e.g., AWS) preferred
• Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
