Medical Assistant - Pinehurst NC (PIN)

QualDerm Partners is looking for a Medical Assistant to join our team in Pinehurst, NC. Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examination by taking vital signs and recording medical history.
• Assist physicians during examinations and procedures, ensuring instruments and supplies are ready and available.
• Perform basic laboratory testing and prepare specimens for analysis.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
• Schedule patient appointments and manage office communications efficiently.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and skincare practices.
• Ensure examination rooms are clean, well-organized, and fully stocked with necessary supplies.

• High school diploma or equivalent; Medical Assistant certification preferred.
• Experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar clinical support role.
• Knowledge of dermatology-related medical terminology and practices.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.
• Ability to handle sensitive patient information with discretion.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and basic office software.
