$45.77 - $68.65
The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. - Administration of physical and virtual infrastructure UNIX based hosts in complex heterogeneous environments
- Fundamentals Storage technologies, SAN and RAID concepts
- Datacenter Operations
- Hands on experience in configuring and deploying Hardware devices like HP DL/BL Series Servers, Sun Hardware, Super Micro and Dell - Enclosures/Blade hardware platform
- Knowledge of Micro services like Docker & Kubernetes
- Configuration tools like Ansible is required
- Investigation, diagnosis and resolution of technical issues affecting service availability
- knowledge on server PXE installation, kickstart configurations, patching and package management
- Responsibilities include managing of servers across the locations which includes Linux, Solaris, and a footprint of VMware in a critical production environment
- Knowledge on configuring Veritas cluster & Pacemaker
- Act as Escalation point for engineers for technical and process related issues
- Partnering with different representatives across the company
- After-hours escalations relating to critical business activities
- Knowledge transfer among multiple team members and sharing of service responsibilities, Rotational hand-offs
