*Overview*
QualCast is a wholesale automotive supplier of performance, stock replacement, and heavy duty internal engine components. Our main warehouse is in Nashville, and we have 9 warehouses in various cities across the US that allow customers quicker delivery of our parts. We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Analyst who can also answer the phone and perform various tasks as needed in a small business environment.
*Duties*
· Bill sales from the warehouses
· Analyze historical sales data to create inventory transfers
· Transfer product in the computer and create transfer packing lists
· Adjust product in all warehouse locations
· Coordinate physical inventory counts in Nashville HQ and at the warehouses and adjust for discrepancies.
· Maintain automotive catalog as a transition is made from Microsoft Access to JNP Soft MyPartFinder, working with parent company’s catalog manager
· Update existing online catalog and work with new website designer to transition to new online catalog with new software
· Take pictures of new parts with existing photo lab equipment on site
· Assist the purchasing manager in inventory analysis
· Locate discrepancies or errors in inventory and take necessary action to address it
· Create reports on inventory levels and communicate findings to management
· Conduct regular audits to ensure ongoing accuracy and fulfillment of inventory management standards
· Answer technical questions about inventory that can be found in the catalog database
· Enter sales orders and answer phones as one of 3 customer service team members as customers give inventory parts and quantities to order
· Help customers find the parts they need by engine using catalog
· Assist in local IT issues, backing up IT team from parent corporation
· As a small business all employees are required to perform any other duties as requested by management.
