Position Overview
We're seeking a driven Business Development professional with a solid background in
commercial construction sales within the union HVAC market. This is a 1099, commission-only opportunity designed for self-starting individuals eager to grow their income based on performance.
Key Responsibilities
Cultivate and maintain relationships with general contractors, developers, and union contacts.
Identify and pursue new project opportunities in commercial HVAC.
Negotiate and close deals aligned with company capacity and goals.
Collaborate with internal teams (estimating, operations) to transition new projects smoothly.
Provide market insights and strategic growth recommendations.
Qualifications
2 years of experience in commercial construction sales, with a focus on union HVAC.
Familiarity with the union HVAC landscape and strong industry contacts.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to work independently in a commission-based, 1099 role.
Compensation Structure (Commission Stipends) This role offers uncapped earning potential through a tiered commission on gross profit,
plus fixed monthly stipends: 0.5% on $0 – $100,000 Contract amount
1.0% on $101,000 – $500,000 Contract amount
1.5% on $501,000 – $750,000 Contract amount
2.0% on $751,000 and above Contract amount
$100/month cell phone stipend
$300/month auto stipend
