Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our Landscaping/Grounds Maintenance Crew team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and possess a variety of skills related to landscape maintenance and care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance tasks, including landscaping, mechanical repairs and general upkeep. This position requires a proactive individual who can work independently as well as part of a team to maintain a safe and attractive environment. As part of the Grounds Crew, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our grounds are well-kept, safe and visually appealing. Experience a plus but not necessary. We are a drug free workplace and we require a background screening. We also offer a retention bonus after 6 months of employment.
Responsibilities
- Perform regular lawn care, including mowing, trimming, and fertilizing to promote healthy growth.
- Conduct landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, weeding, trimming, raking and other general garden upkeep.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various maintenance tasks.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on buildings, grounds to ensure optimal beautification of our landscape areas.
- Collaborate with team members to complete larger projects efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools and equipment used in grounds maintenance.
Skills
- Ability to operate hand tools safely; experience with power tools is a plus
- Strong physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks such as digging, lifting and standing for extended periods. Be able to lift 50 lbs or heavier.
- Ability to perform physical labor outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to landscaping and maintenance work.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to follow instructions.
