What are the responsibilities and job description for the Delivery Driver position at Quail Cove Delivery?
Job Overview
This entry level straight forward delivery driver position is great for anyone looking to make extra on the weekends and some weekdays. Its very flexible and you can learn how to do it in just a couple days and feel confident. You will use your own vehicle and millage is paid at $0.50/mile on top of your starting wage of $15/hour. Flexible start time may be between 1:00pm-3:00pm and may take 3-4 hours on average/day. We currently need Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
Duties
- Receive packages in the morning to early afternoon and deliver them via a rout we provide
- Load, unload, and secure merchandise with care, including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Interact professionally with customers, providing friendly service
Qualifications
- A clean driving record
- small pickup or SUV or hatchback style vehicle preferred (millage is paid at $0.50/mile)
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks safely and efficiently.
- Organizational skills to manage multiple deliveries and prioritize tasks effectively.
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
