We pride ourselves on collaborative problem-solving, cutting-edge design, and delivering projects that stand the test of time.

Role Description

As our Industrial Designer, you will drive the creative direction and technical execution of new product lines and custom installations—entirely remotely. This role requires consistent availability during Eastern Standard Time business hours and includes leadership of junior designers.

Create quick-turn design iterations and rapid visual prototypes for review

Manage and organize design PDFs and project documentation

Develop physical and digital prototypes to validate form, fit, and function

Apply design thinking methodologies to solve complex spatial and material challenges

Collaborate via video calls and project-management tools to ensure design intent is realized

Mentor and manage junior designers, coordinating workloads and reviews

Source materials, finishes, and hardware in alignment with project budgets and specifications

Maintain a library of design standards, best practices, and emerging trends in millwork and furniture design

Prepare high-quality renderings and visual presentations for clients and stakeholders

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or related field

Proven experience in industrial design projects, preferably within millwork, furniture, or architectural products

Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and other Autodesk software

Strong prototyping skills (physical model making and/or digital rapid-prototyping)

Expertise in preparing and managing multi-page design PDFs and documentation

Experience delivering quick design results under tight deadlines

Rendering experience with tools like KeyShot, V-Ray, or similar

Solid grasp of design thinking and product development processes

Exceptional creativity, visual communication, and problem-solving abilities

Excellent verbal and written communication; comfortable presenting in virtual meetings

Self-motivated, highly organized, and able to manage tasks independently in a remote setting

Leadership experience or demonstrated ability to manage and mentor a small design team

Availability to work U.S. Eastern Standard Time business hours

Preferred

Experience with CNC programming and workshop fabrication processes

Familiarity with materials science for wood, composites, metals, and sustainable materials

Portfolio demonstrating a range of custom design, rapid prototyping, and rendering work

What We Offer

Opportunity to lead design on high-profile residential and commercial projects

Fully remote studio environment with direct access to our fabrication shop via digital collaboration

Professional development and growth within a rapidly expanding company
