What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lab Technician position at Quadrex Corporation?
A small international leader in gas chromatography (GC) column manufacturing is seeking a full-time lab technician or chemist to join their manufacturing and quality control team. This role offers a unique opportunity to engage hands-on with all aspects of GC column production while supporting rigorous quality assurance processes.
The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of tasks integral to the manufacturing workflow. These include all aspects of GC column production, conducting routine testing to ensure product quality, and managing job orders received from purchase orders to guarantee timely order fulfillment. Inventory control will also play a role, alongside maintaining and troubleshooting gas chromatographs used within the lab.
While direct experience with gas chromatography is advantageous, it is not a strict prerequisite; we'll training the right candidate who possesses a keen interest in laboratory science and technical manufacturing. Attention to detail is critical.
