Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Certified

Pay From: $50 per hour
MUST:
2 years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist or PET Technologist
Must have a valid CPR
Must be hold NMTCB or ARRT (N) certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
DUTIES:
Prepares the necessary medicines for injection into patients for nuclear medical procedures
Administers IV injections
Positions the patient on procedure table and performs scans
Supervises personnel in nuclear medicine
Checks the isotope boxes, department, bookkeeping, disposal of decayed isotopes
Orders necessary isotopes
Schedules patients and technicians
Performs necessary paperwork including documentation
Responsible for calling for repair service
Checks records daily for accuracy
Maintains files for inspection by governing bodies
Inform supervisor of upcoming license expirations
Performs all necessary tests required
