What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Superintendent position at QUADRANT CONSTRUCTION, INC?
We’re looking for a field leader to join our growing team! As a Superintendent / Quality Control Manager / Site Safety & Health Officer (SSHO), you’ll oversee construction projects aboard Camp Lejeune and Cherry Point under NAVFAC’s Multiple Award Construction Contract (MACC).
This is a unique role that combines project leadership, quality control, and safety management. You’ll be the face of the project in the field, ensuring our work is safe, high-quality, and on schedule.
What You’ll Do
· Lead daily construction activities and subcontractor coordination
· Manage the 3-Phase QC process (Preparatory, Initial, Follow-Up)
· Enforce safety standards under OSHA, EM 385-1-1, and NAVFAC requirements
· Conduct daily reports, safety meetings, and inspections
· Partner with project managers, government reps, and field crews to deliver success
What We’re Looking For
· 5 years of NAVFAC/USACE or federal construction experience
· Hands-on experience as Superintendent, QC Manager, or SSHO (combined preferred)
· Certifications (or ability to obtain):
o USACE/NAVFAC CQM-C
o OSHA 30-Hour Construction
o EM 385-1-1 SSHO Training
o First Aid / CPR / AED
· Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
