Job Description

The Regional Business Development Manager is responsible for driving sales growth of assigned equipment and software within the Document Handling product line across a designated region. This role serves as a strategic advocate for the product portfolio, delivering product training, and sales support to both Direct and Dealer sales teams. The ideal candidate is a dynamic presenter, a skilled trainer, and a trusted advisor with deep industry knowledge and a passion for sales excellence.

  • Sales Growth & Product Advocacy:
    • Increase regional sales of Document Handling equipment and software through strategic initiatives and field engagement.
    • Act as a product line champion, promoting awareness, adoption, and competitive positioning across Direct and Dealer channels.
  • Product Training:
    • Design and deliver impactful product training programs focused on product positioning, industry trends, and customer value.
    • Maintain expert-level knowledge of the mailing and document handling industry to ensure training relevance and effectiveness.
  • Sales Support & Dealer Engagement:
    • Provide consultative support to local Dealers, Direct sales representatives, and dealer principals to enhance sales performance.
    • Collaborate with sales leadership to identify opportunities and remove barriers to growth.
  • Content Development & Presentation Leadership:
    • Serve as a presenter for Quadient Live, shaping the messaging and delivery of product presentations to prospects and internal teams.
    • Help with training programs for both sales and service teams, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and customer needs.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or related experience
  • Proven experience in business development, or product advocacy within the mailing or document handling industry.
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills, with experience delivering content to diverse audiences.
  • Strong ability to influence and collaborate across teams and organizational levels.
  • Experience designing and delivering training programs, both in-person and virtually.
  • Proficiency with CRM and sales enablement platforms; familiarity with Workday is a plus.
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to execution.
  • Passion for mentoring and developing sales talent.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
