- Electrical systems (outlets, lighting, panels)
- Plumbing and sanitary systems (fixtures, drainage, piping)
- HVAC and mechanical systems (boilers, AC units, furnaces)
- Fire protection and safety devices (smoke/CO detectors, sprinklers)
- Interior finishes (flooring, doors, walls)
- Site features (sidewalks, lighting, playgrounds)
- Specialized systems (elevators, emergency generators, call‑for‑aid systems)
- And you’re comfortable inspecting everything from single-family homes to multifamily buildings and high-rises
- Experience with HUD standards like HQS or NSPIRE
- Familiarity with subsidized housing programs
- Knowledge of the Landlord/Tenant Act
- Awareness of local Baltimore agencies
- Confidence working independently and managing your own schedule
- Comfort using tablets, mobile apps, and digital documentation
- Experience in a paperless office environment
