Nutrition Sales Specialist

A leading and rapidly growing home infusion healthcare provider is seeking a Nutrition Sales Specialist to support patients receiving complex infusion therapies while helping expand parenteral nutrition (PN) services across Manhattan.
This role combines clinical nutrition expertise, patient education, and provider relationship development. It is ideal for a Registered Dietitian with parenteral nutrition or home infusion experience who enjoys working closely with healthcare providers and improving patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with hospitals, physicians, clinics, rehabilitation facilities, and referral partners to generate parenteral nutrition referrals
- Educate patients and coordinate referrals to ensure a smooth onboarding process into home infusion therapy
- Ensure patient intake processes meet regulatory and compliance requirements
- Participate in nutrition support team meetings and patient care conferences
- Identify and develop new growth opportunities for parenteral nutrition services
- Deliver clinical education and in-service presentations to healthcare providers
- Collaborate with internal clinical and operational teams to ensure optimal patient care
- Maintain knowledge of current nutrition research, trends, and best practices
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics or related field
Certifications
- Registered Dietitian (RD) with current state licensure
- Current registration through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience with parenteral nutrition and/or home infusion
- Experience working with physicians, hospitals, or healthcare referral sources preferred
Skills
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic health record systems preferred
Compensation & Benefits
