Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Dispatch Coordinator, based in North Richland Hills, TX. The Dispatch Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and managing the dispatching of freight, ensuring timely communication with drivers and customers, and maintaining data accuracy. Key daily tasks include assigning loads, scheduling, updating shipment statuses, resolving customer inquiries, and entering key data efficiently into relevant systems. The role requires strong multitasking abilities and a proactive approach to problem-solving within a fast-paced logistics environment.
Qualifications
- Strong Dispatching skills with the ability to manage and assign loads effectively
- Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to maintain positive relationships with clients and drivers
- Exceptional organizational skills as a Skilled Multi-tasker, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting
- Proficiency in Data Entry and maintaining accurate records
- Detail-oriented, with the ability to handle high-pressure situations calmly and efficiently
- Proficient in using logistics software and familiar with transportation regulations is a plus
- Previous experience in logistics, dispatching, or a related field preferred
