Unique family-owned restaurant and bar group is seeking a Pizza Cook to join their newest venue. Located on Broadway near Bixby Park, this bar specializes in sharing their mouthwatering pizza within an enjoyable community atmosphere.

Position Summary
Under the direction of the General Manager, prepares a range of specialty pizzas and salads for consumption in eating establishments. Will add more food items in the future.
Currently the bar is open Wednesday to Sunday, but will be open 7 days a week in the future. We are looking for both full-time and part-time pizza cooks.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepares and bakes pizza following quantities outlined on the production record while strictly adhering to standardized recipes.
- Portions food according to portion control standards outlined on the production records and recipes.
- Follows sanitary food handling procedures when preparing, holding, serving, and storing foods.
- Serves food at proper temperature.
- Uses proper equipment in preparation, holding, service, and storage of foods. Maintains equipment in acceptable clean and sanitary manner.
- Responsible for the cleanliness, sanitation, and order of assigned work areas.
- Attends in-service and other training programs related to duties and responsibilities as required.
- Carries out procedures and practices as instructed in approved in-service and other training.
- Confers with the supervisor on menus, quantity, recipes, and assignments.
- Responsible for all kitchen duties including cleaning dishes, help prep and other areas of the kitchen.
- Not over preparing, or under preparing. Maintaining quality through making items as fresh as possible.
- Handles all working and end of day side work on any given shift.
Qualifications/Minimum Education and/or Experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) at a minimum. May not require education minimum if has qualified work experience of 5 years work history.
- Pizza cook experience
- Training in food safety (ServSafe certificate or Food Handler's card)
- Experience with long shifts
Highly Desired:
- 1-2 years’ cooking experience in institutional or restaurant food service including demonstrated techniques of using standardized recipes and sanitary food handling, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Job Title: Pizza Cook
Hours: 3pm – 2am (shifts vary)
Wage: $19-21/hr ($19 to start, $21/hr after completion of training within 3 months)
