Role Description
This is a full-time position on 2nd Shift: Injection Molding Set-Up & Process Technician based in Elkhart, IN. Responsibilities include setting up and maintaining injection molding machines, optimizing processes to ensure product quality and efficiency, and troubleshooting machine and process issues. The role also involves conducting inspections, implementing process improvements, and collaborating with team members to meet production goals.
Qualifications
- Experience in injection molding machine set-up and process optimization is required.
- Knowledge of troubleshooting machine and process issues, including equipment maintenance
- Ability to read and understand technical specifications
- Understanding of safety practices, quality standards, and production efficiency metrics
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Basic computer literacy to operate relevant software and update production data
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications in plastics technology or related fields are a plus
- Prior experience in an injection molding and manufacturing environment is required.
