Customer Service Ambassador/Cashier/Barista

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and inviting environment. This role is perfect for individuals who thrive in fast-paced settings and enjoy engaging with customers while showcasing their skills in the food service industry.

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and standards.
• Operate cash registers, process transactions accurately, and handle cash with care.
• Maintain cleanliness of the coffee shop, including workstations, equipment, and dining areas.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders efficiently, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours while maintaining quality standards.
• Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of supplies and notifying management when reordering is necessary.
• Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and support each other in daily tasks.

Experience

• Previous experience in the food industry or retail environment is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with cash handling procedures and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
• Experience using Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
• Strong time management skills to balance multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods.
• A desire to help others by providing outstanding service and creating memorable experiences for customers.
